Job Description
The Production Shift Supervisor will supervise hourly employees in the continuous operation of the plant's production activities with a focus on safety, quality, continuous process improvements, and production efficiencies. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AN 8HR. ROTATING SHIFT!
The Production Shift Supervisor will:
- Monitor job change progress and assist in quality decisions
- Input key shift performance indicators into production databases
- Audit for process control and enforce standardized work
- Ensure that employees are trained and are knowledgeable of department procedures
The Production Shift Supervisor should have:
- Experience working in a 24/7 manufacturing facility
- Strong background with scheduling (people, operations, logistics, preventative maintenance)
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and lead hourly employees
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience supervising people and leading processes in a manufacturing environment
- Computer literate w/ proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Previous experience working in a Union environment highly preferred

What we offer at O-I:
Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $95,000 to $105,000 and includes a possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
