Warehouse Manager, Trenton, TX

Description

The Warehouse Manager will oversee and coordinate the storage and distribution of materials or products as well as manage warehouse staff. This position supports our warehouse in Trenton, TX.

• Supports hiring and training of new employees.
• Schedules and oversees warehouse staff.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy.
• Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
• Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
• Ensures that all stock is stored in correct locations in the warehouse.
• Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.
• Schedules materials being transferred to and from warehouse; coordinates transfer of inventory between departments.
• Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
• Monitors expenditures; implements corrective actions if needed.
• Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
• Resolves routine equipment issues.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

● High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

● Ability to manage and coordinate a variety of shipping methods.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing variables

● Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

● Experience with Microsoft, Google Suits, Zoom and Microsoft teams

● Experience leading a team in the execution of measurable goals

● Organizational skills and attention to detail

● Time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines

● Operates forklift as needed.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
