The SMD of Data Management is responsible for establishing and overseeing the enterprise-wide data governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving data quality, integrity, and accessibility through cross-enterprise engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Enterprise Data Governance Policy and related standards.

• Establish and maintain the Enterprise Data Governance Program, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and strategic objectives.

• Define and enforce data quality standards for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.

• Collaborate with the Head of Data Technologies to drive responsible adoption of the cloud-based data platform.

• Lead the implementation of Data Management framework, including engagement with stakeholders across all LOBs to ensure comprehensive adoption of new requirements.

Education, Experience and Skills:

• 15+ years of experience in data governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, or financial data operations in a banking environment.

• Deep knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to data management.

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise data governance frameworks, including data quality controls and governance committees.

• Experience influencing a large, complex, cross-functional stakeholder group to adhere to new requirements.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $225,000 USD to $250,000 USD.  Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
