Associate Principal Consultant (Irving, TX) Duties: Assist in the development of technical specifications
and high-level designs based on business requirements, employing effective communication skills to
finalize project needs through
stakeholder meetings. Demonstrated proficiency in coding and reviewing RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, and
CLLE programs is required, with a focus on efficiency and maintainability. Implement change
management tools like RDi, MKS, or Aldon to streamline development workflows and boost productivity.
Actively contribute to adopting industry best practices and coding standards within the chosen change
management tool, ensuring adherence to quality and compliance requirements in software development
projects. Translate stakeholder requirements into technical AS400 specifications, conducting system
analysis and effectively communicating technical needs. Desired attributes for this role include experience
in performance optimization, integration and interface development, batch job management, leadership,
continuous improvement, deployment and support, production implementation planning, release support,
custom solutions development, system maintenance, cross-platform integration, testing and quality
assurance, effective communication, version control management, and release management.
Required: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems,
Information Technology, Engineering or related field plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or
related IT position.
Must have: 4 years of experience with AS400, RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CLLE, FTP, SFTP, DB2,
System Analysis, Stakeholders Engagement, Technical Specification Documentation, Waterfall
Methodology, and Continuous Improvement. 2 years of experience with change management tools (RDi,
MKS, Aldon), and Business Requirement Documentation.
