Job Overview

• This position is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our medical practice. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Room patients and obtain vitals, make updates to medical history, medication list, pharmacy
• Complete MIPS measures on each patient, fill out appropriate forms such as MDHAQ/BASDAI
• Prepare and clean exam rooms
• Unpack samples/supplies, put away and restock as necessary.
• Prepare for appointments making sure all appropriate labs and imaging are received
• appropriately interact with patients, providers and other staff.
• Respond to patient phone calls, and provider tasks in timely manner
• assist provider during exams/procedures as needed, administer injections as directed.
• Perform other duties/tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Certification Medical Assistant
• Prior clinical experience
• Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures, EMR
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Friendly, team player, excellent collaborator, and communicator
• Prior scribe experience preferred
