What you will do:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the reliability and efficiency of machinery in a fast-paced environment. They independently troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, perform scheduled preventive maintenance, and support process improvements to ensure optimal production. Technicians also contribute to safety, compliance, and training, while collaborating with Engineering to drive continuous improvements. Their efforts are vital in maintaining high-quality standards for products that improve and save lives.
Independently determine and develop approaches to troubleshooting and repairing machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, ensuring timely resolution of failures and adherence to safety standards.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) work and set up and changeovers to production equipment to maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Support and contribute to process and systemic improvements, including working on reliability issues, preventive maintenance reviews, and suggesting modifications to reduce costs and enhance machine efficiencies.
Apply basic knowledge of motion controls, industrial controls, electrical and pneumatic operations, and basic PLC understanding in troubleshooting and repair activities.
Periodically lead and train lower-level employees, fostering skill development and ensuring adherence to maintenance protocols.
Enter work performed into AMMS, maintain an accurate inventory of essential spare parts, and ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and quality standards.
Work safely, ensuring all equipment is in safe working condition, follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and assist with investigations related to machinery issues.
Partner with Engineering to support improvement projects, validations, and enhancements, and assist with solutions to complex technical problems involving identifiable factors.
What You Need:
High School Diploma or GED required
3+ years of experience in a Manufacturing cGMP environment or comparable experience
Working knowledge of engineering drawings, electrical schematics, engineering flow diagrams, algebra, geometry, and shop math
Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Pneumatic troubleshooting.
Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills
Basic PLC and Electrical Controls experience and troubleshooting.
