International Motor Sports Association (IMSA):
The International Motor Sports Association, LLC (IMSA) was originally founded in 1969 and owns a long and rich history in sports car racing. Today, IMSA is the sanctioning body of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the premier sports car racing series in North America. IMSA also sanctions the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge and Historic Sportscar Racing, as well as five one-make series: Ferrari Challenge North America, Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America, Mazda MX-5 Cup, Mustang Challenge and Porsche Carrera Cup North America. IMSA – a company within the NASCAR family – is the exclusive strategic partner in North America with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) which operates the 24 Hours of Le Mans as a part of the FIA World Endurance Championship. Summary
The Manager, Partnership Marketing position will be focused on the day-to-day management of assigned automotive partnerships, organizing, and creating activation strategies for partners at and away from events, managing the flow of deliverables and contractual obligations associated with partners, delivering high-quality programs with measurable business impact. Additionally, position will be expected to contribute and support other areas of department responsibilities such as partnership communications and event management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Partnership Management
Serve as primary contact for assigned partners with responsibility for establishing and nurturing day-to-day relationships with assigned partners
Develop, fulfill and execute onboarding and renewal of partnership contracts
Manage, organize and distribute contractual assets in order to support effective at-track activation for partners including but not limited to credentials, hospitality passes, parking passes, VIP experiences and other elements.
Develop a thorough understanding of partner’s business and proactively suggest ways that IMSA can support their objectives.
Develop marketing activation programs outside the agreement, helping partner further leverage their IMSA investment and placing IMSA in front of new audiences.
Identify areas for incremental investments that align with partner’s business objectives
Prepare and present partner recap reports illustrating successful delivery and value of partnership
Partnership Communications
Supporting the development, management and execution process for creation and timely distribution of key industry insights and updates, event resource materials, marketing materials, support collateral, and other related documents for internal and external stakeholders.
Support of RSVP and guest list management for events and other means of organizing and effectively determining appropriate internal and external communication methods and timing to effectively prepare the Marketing Department and Senior Management staff for each event.
Perform quality work within deadlines.
Event Management
Support the development, management and at-track/onsite execution Partner VIP experiences and activities such as Pit Tours, Hot Lap Rides, Starter Stand visits, etc.
Interact professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and partners by providing superior care and service, internally and externally.
Attend IMSA race events and Corporate Partnership events as determined necessary and approved by the Director, Partnership Marketing.
Travel Expectations
25% travel including weekends and holidays as needed.
Travel is needed for race events in support of the organization, execution and activation of Partnerships and Marketing initiatives as directed and pre-approved by the Director, Partnership Marketing.
