Employment Status: Part Time

Stretch*d is seeking trained therapists to offer their signature Face* massage service. We offer 35- and 50-minute Face* sessions. Each session is a relaxing face, head, neck and shoulder massage. Face* incorporates specific massage techniques to help sculpt, smooth and tone facial muscles. The service also incorporates techniques for lymphatic drainage, acupressure points to relieve TMJ, jaw tension and headaches, use of tools like a gua sha, plus basic assisted stretch*s and neck and shoulder massage. You must be a licensed esthetician or massage therapist in NY.

• One-on-one hands-on client interaction 
• Working with clients to help reach their personal beauty and wellness goals 
• Therapeutic beauty work designed to enhance beauty from the inside out 
• Consistently learning new techniques and methods 
• Working for an early-stage business 

Requirements: 

• Undergo paid Face* Sculptor training of up to 20 hours 
• Must be available at least 15-25 hours a week 
• Must be available to work 6-8 hour shifts 
• Must be able to work at least ONE weekend day shift, including Sundays to start 
• Must be available to work from both the Stretch*d spaces (Flatiron and Upper East Side) 
• Must be able to move and/or lift heavy items, up to 50 lbs. 

Pay:

• In the Stretch*d space: You will earn a competitive base hourly rate. On top of this, you will earn additional payment based on sessions that you complete. 
• Tip Policy: Tips are encouraged and discretionary. 
• Higher rates for Events hosted on and offsite

Stretch*d was started in 2018 by the founder of SLT (the chain of Pilates megaformer studios) as the premier brand in the one-on-one assisted stretch space. We offer clients the most effective and feel good way to “get loose.” Through our three in-person locations in NY, virtual and digital channels and Stretch*d Academy, our newly launched training program, we are on a mission to make recovery an essential part of every body’s routine. Job Type: Part Time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour (combined hourly base with commission & tips)

Supervisory Responsibility: 

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. 

Work Environment: 

The job operates in a professional, retail environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as computers and phones.

 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit or stand with a client for prolonged periods; stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, use hand to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, occasionally climb up and down ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Position Type: 

This is a part-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
