Senior Specialist - MS Dynamics 365 F&O System Owner

Role purpose

The Enterprise Applications team is seeking a talented and experienced System Owner for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. The system owner will work side by side with the implementation partner on a global implementation of D365 Finance at Accelya, and will be involved in system design, configuration, data conversion, reporting, and integrations with other systems. Post go-live, this individual will be the system owner over D365, and will be the main point of contact for product knowledge, system administration and maintenance, configuration, product extensibility and integrations, and all project work involving Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Primary point of contact for all product-related questions and issues regarding Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Responsible and accountable for delivering projects related to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations on-time, on budget, and meeting functional and quality specifications.
• Setup user security and roles.
• Plan and execute D365 Finance version updates.
• Manage Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and D365 environments.
• Work with the finance team and other technical teams to design and implement workflows, configurations, reports, customizations, extensions, integrations and data conversions within the D365 Finance and Operations platform according to best practices.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Strong functional and technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
• Understands business requirements and can translate them into technical requirements and working solutions in the areas of finance, accounting, billing, procurement, AP, AR.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM
• Proficiency supporting solutions in the Microsoft Azure environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Power BI for analytics and reporting and PowerApps for extending D365 as well as MS Office Suite products (i.e. Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Demonstrated proficiency with integrating Microsoft D365 with other business applications (i.e. Workday, Concur, billing systems)
• Skilled in SQL and data analysis.
• Strong facilitation skills, communicates effectively with the project team and the business to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions as required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant education
