What you’ll be doing:

The Commercial Operations Technical Program Management team builds operational roadmaps and leads cross-functional programs to safely develop AV technology into scaled and sustainable businesses. Businesses may include ridehail and/or delivery in initial and subsequent markets. In the Senior Technical Program Manager role you will:

  • Build operational program plans and execute them across 10+ functions and external partners to implement Cruise’s commercial products

  • Serve as an interface between the business and technical teams responsible for operational execution and technology readiness to highlight scope, timing, and resourcing risks

  • Break down functional silos to deliver a seamless customer experience in a complex environment

  • Create frameworks to efficiently and effectively manage programs and initiatives

  • Bring next-level organization to the way we make decisions, execute programs, and evaluate progress

  • Hold leadership team and cross-functional peers accountable to deliver on commitments which will benefit the business

  • Communicate progress, opportunities, and risks to key partners and sponsors, including executive leadership

What you must have:

  • Proven experience in project or program management roles and at least one operations or business oriented role

  • Background in Engineering or other relevant technical field

  • The ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional peers and leaders, passionately bring order and organization to any team, and quickly identify resources and motivate colleagues without acting as a direct authority figure

  • Strong communication skills, including a willingness to speak up when there is a timeline, scope, resource, or safety risk

  • Prioritization to keep teams focused on the most impactful work in the short to medium term while not losing sight of the big picture and long-term goals

  • Ability to understand and act on complex, open-ended problems, and to adapt, operate, and thrive under ambiguity

  • A go-to-market or operations program management role

  • Work experience at start-up and established companies

  • Working on a ridehail or delivery program

The salary range for this position is $139,000 - $204,300. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
