Role Description:
Form Energy is seeking a Staff Equipment Engineer for Material Flow to join our factory design and build team within the manufacturing operations group. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our talented and growing team at our first-of-its-kind high-volume advanced battery manufacturing facility in Weirton, WV.
The Staff Equipment Engineer will establish new industry standards by efficiently executing program management, modernizing and streamlining processes, optimizing engineering and material flow, and ensuring quality for our advanced manufacturing plant ecosystem.

What you'll do:
Take Full ownership of the entire Material Flow process equipment Lifecycle from inception through industrialization and handover to operation
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver equipment and processes that meet quality and industrial performance
Demonstrate advanced skills in program management, including scope and management, schedule management, budget oversight, and milestone reporting
Apply extensive experience and expertise in problem-solving methodologies to address commissioning & bring equipment & processes to production
Demonstrate advanced skill in material flow design: understanding multiple technologies (AGV, conveyance system, MES, WMS, etc.) and mastering supply chain line balancing
Create a business model that efficiently balances OPEX and CAPEX, risk, and timing and present it to the senior leadership team
Lead the implementation of corrective actions for continuous improvement
Effectively manage and lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and synergy
Bring a wealth of experience in successfully managing programs associated with high-volume manufacturing
Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and output in a high-volume production environment
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and six plus years of relevant industry experience in material flow & supply chain management
Proven Expertise in industrial/manufacturing program management, including scope, schedule, budget, and reporting
Demonstrated ability to apply advanced problem-solving methodologies to address and overcome complex changes
Substantial experience in successfully managing programs related to high-volume manufacturing
In-depth knowledge of industrial performance metrics, KPIs, and strategies for improvement
Demonstrated commitment to ensuring and enhancing product quality throughout the
