We are seeking a Sr. Security Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor for our clients. This role is responsible for ensuring customers successfully implement and maximize the value of our cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships, understand client needs, and proactively guide them toward security best practices.

This is not a traditional sales role—your focus will be on helping customers succeed by aligning our security services with their business objectives. However, you will also identify opportunities to expand their engagement with our services where it adds value.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the initial point of contact with prospective clients by leading engagement kickoff calls designed to help prospective clients understand Workstreet’s compliance offerings, address technical concerns, and demonstrate how our services align with their security needs.
• Act as a vCISO, providing strategic guidance and recommendations based on clients' priorities, environments, and security tools
• Work closely with the sales team to translate compliance requirements into practical business solutions that align with client pain points.
• Engage with prospective clients during the sales process to provide compliance insights, answer technical questions, and assist in scoping engagements.
• Guide clients on security and compliance best practices, leveraging expertise in a wide range of cybersecurity frameworks and standards to provide strategic recommendations.
• Maintain an expert-level understanding of Workstreet’s end-to-end compliance implementation process, including risk assessments, policy development, technical control implementation, and audit readiness.
• Work closely with the delivery team to ensure seamless handoff of client engagements, providing necessary context to ensure successful compliance implementations. 
• Stay updated on new regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices to guide both internal teams and external clients.
• Work within and feel comfortable operating compliance platforms like Vanta, assisting clients in navigating automation tools and streamlining their compliance efforts.

Must-have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing compliance programs and familiarity with three or more of the following frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, HiTRUST
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative.
• Experience working with sales teams, engaging with clients, and explaining complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate compliance requirements into business value and present solutions in a compelling way.

Preferred Skills:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM, CCSP).
• Hands-on experience with the big 3 cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Track record of providing strategic recommendations to enhance cybersecurity programs  
• Experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical sales role is a strong plus.
• Experience interacting with cybersecurity audit firms
