The Marketing Specialist, Lead Generation & Performance Reporting PositionSunnova is looking for an individual who is passionate about results to drive and manage our external lead generation providers and reporting for marketing performance, lead program fees and payments, rewards and referral program, and other marketing initiatives, as needed. This role is critical to ensuring that efficient and high-quality leads come into the marketing and sales funnel as well as providing regular performance insights into the conversion of marketing leads in appointments, quotes, and sales. The position will lead and manage processes, project plans, and reporting across our Marketing Lead Management, Direct Sales, external lead generation providers, Marketing, Legal, IT, and Pricing teams. It will also be directly involved in consolidating data from multiple sources, creating recurring and ad-hoc reporting for multiple audiences, generating performance insights, and providing strategic recommendations to improve the performance of our Dealer and Direct Sales channels. This position will prepare regular reports to ensure fees and commission payments from the lead program are distributed to dealers and partners.

Marketing Specialist, Lead Generation & Performance Reporting Responsibilities
- The two major areas of responsibility that the candidate will drive include:
- External Lead Generation Partnership Performance
- Develops relationships and manages processes with external lead providers.
- Manages the API that connects external lead providers to Sunnova’s CRM platform. Onboards new vendors, conducts API testing, and updates vendor-specific settings to ensure that all required lead data fields and attributes are populated.
- Monitors and manages audience targeting, lead type, and end-to-end lead data flow.
- Manages weekly performance reviews with external lead partners to identify root cause issues, optimize campaigns, and maximize lead quality and conversion rates.
- Ensures external lead partners comply with TCPA, California Consumer Protection Act/Privacy Policy, GDPR, and any other Sunnova or regulatory contact information and consent requirements.
- Optimizes portfolio performance external lead providers, onboarding and divesting provider as needed to achieve both volume and cost efficiency targets.
- Lead Performance Reporting
- Consolidates marketing lead, lead stats, sales disposition, and product reporting from multiple data sources including, but not limited to, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Tableau, other manually created spreadsheets, etc.
- Creates easy-to-understand, executive-level dashboards on an ad-hoc or recurring basis that summarizes KPIs such as lead and sales volume trends, conversion rates, cost per lead, cost per quote, cost per appointment, and cost per sale by marketing campaign, promotion, sales channel, dealer, market, product, and more.
- Analyzes results, summarizes insights, and recommends campaign, program, and process adjustments for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Prepares lead fee reports, commission reports, and other reports as needed for the lead program.
- Defines and manages criteria for reporting leads, sales, referrals, and reward card eligibility.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on marketing, business, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of marketing experience with developing marketing performance analyses, data visualization, insights, and recommendations.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation, and meeting facilitation
