Role Description:

The Director of Executive Search at CoStar Group is a key strategic partner in attracting top executive talent to drive the company’s continued success. Reporting directly to the Head of Talent Acquisition, this role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing world-class leadership across CoStar Group’s key brands and business units. This individual will work closely with senior leaders to understand the company’s evolving needs and ensure that CoStar Group remains competitive in the market by bringing in exception executive talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead executive search efforts, directly sourcing, assessing, and recruiting senior-level talent to meet the company’s highest priority hiring needs.
  • Partner with senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop targeted executive talent acquisition strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, providing market intelligence, insights and recommendations on talent trends and competitive hiring strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top executive talent, proactively developing a pipeline of leaders for current and future needs.
  • Leverage innovative sourcing techniques, networks, and industry knowledge to identify and attract the best candidates.
  • Ensure a seamless and high-touch candidate experience, managing the end-to-end recruitment process with discretion and professionalism.
  • Optimize budget allocation to maximize the impact of recruitment efforts while maintaining cost efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or an advanced degree (preferred).
  • 12+ years’ experience in a recruiting and/or selling environment that relies on data driven metrics to measure success.
  • Prior experience with budget management or P&L responsibility in previous roles.
  • Executive presence with a proven track record of working with C-Suite level leaders.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess knowledge of senior level recruiting within the SaaS industry while having familiarity with the PropTech, Commercial Real Estate or marketplaces landscape is advantageous.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of effectively coordinating multiple executive search projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using data to generate reports on metrics and trends and create engaging presentations to effectively communicate findings and strategies to stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of common human resources practices, employment laws and/or government compliance regulations that affect recruitment.
  • Ability to work full-time in the office.
