Senior Accountant General Ledger (m/f/d)

<p> </p> <p><b>Your areas of responsibilities:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual individual financial statements for the EMEA entities in accordance with IFRS and HGB standards</li> <li>Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all relevant accounting principles and regulations</li> <li>Participate in the consolidation process for the EMEA region</li> <li>Create detailed and accurate reports for monthly group reporting</li> <li>Ensure timely submission of consolidated financial statements and reports</li> <li>Address and resolve accounting issues, serving as a primary contact for auditors</li> <li>Provide necessary documentation and explanations to support audit processes</li> <li>Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policie</li> <li>Assist in managing tax-related topics, including VAT and income tax</li> <li>Collaborate with tax advisors and authorities to ensure compliance with local tax regulations</li> <li>Coordinate and lead general ledger projects within the Goodbaby Group</li> <li>Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy</li> <li>Provide training and support to team members on general ledger processes</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Your profile of qualification:</b></p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Completed university studies in economics, finance, or a related field, or a comparable qualification such as an accountant certification</li> <li>Strong knowledge of accounting standards, specifically HGB and IFRS</li> <li>Profound working experience in finance, preferably in an international setting</li> <li>Demonstrated ability for continuous improvement and strong analytical and structured thinking</li> <li>High degree of independence, diligence, and quality awareness</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy</li> <li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills</li> <li>Excellent organizational and time management abilities</li> <li>Ability to work independently and take initiative</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite</li> <li>Excellent proficiency in German and English, with the ability to effectively communicate and work within an international team</li> </ul> <p> </p>
