About the Role

Saxton & Stump is seeking 2 motivated and talented Associates with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing Business Litigation Practice Group. The position can be filled in either the firm’s Harrisburg or Lancaster offices. 

The ideal candidate will combine strong litigation experience, including hands-on involvement in case strategy, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court appearances. Experience with shareholder disputes, business fraud, transactional disputes, injunction proceedings and e-discovery processes a plus. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical abilities, strong writing skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

· Represent clients in all phases of business and commercial litigation

· Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery

· Work with e-discovery service providers

· Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues

· Participate in and take depositions

· Engage in motion practice and oral advocacy

· Support trial preparation and courtroom proceedings

· Communicate proactively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

· Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys in developing case strategies

Requirements

Qualifications

· J.D. from an accredited law school

· 3–5 years of experience in business litigation or commercial litigation

· Pennsylvania Bar admission required 

· Strong writing, research, and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines

· A team-oriented mindset and desire to contribute to a fast-growing practice
