Finance Data Visualization & Modeling Specialist

We are looking for a Finance Data Visualization and Modeling Specialist to be part of the Nestlé Finance Data & Analytics Department.

The role 
The Finance Data & Analytics visualization specialist will design the data model and visualization for global analytics solutions to be leveraged by all geographies and at all level of the Nestlé Finance community.

What you’ll do 

• Deliver state-of-the-art and consistent user-experience across all Global Finance analytics solutions. 
• Continuously explore options to drive higher solution flexibility and performance via effective modelling in Power BI or collaboration with IT on backend data structure.
• Follow industry best practices (ex: IBCS) and leverage effective visualization techniques to deliver insights beyond data.
• Collaborate with ADI to deliver «easy-to-consume» data assets supporting ad-hoc analysis for the finance community.
• Cascade knowledge to other analytics experts on how to leverage Global Finance Data Assets.
• Make use of influencing skills to educate / convince data practitioners about the benefits of the Global Analytics solutions. Listen to their challenges and create a shared path for success.
• Contribute to overall support model of the Global Finance Analytics Solutions when visualization was delivered by the team.
• Explore and deliver advanced analytics use cases using techniques such as (NLG, AI, ML, statistical models …).
• Network effectively with other Analytics specialists from other stream (NBS, Audit, IT, Markets) to ensure cross-fertilization within the group.

Minimum qualifications: 

• Strong experience in Power BI from a modeling and visualization standpoint.
• MS Power BI Certification a plus.
• Strong knowledge of DAX.
• Python and/or R a plus.
• Experience with SQL (queries) and data warehouse modeling.
• Strong experience in building Finance Analytics solutions.
• High-level understanding of core finance processes.
• Proficiency in English language is needed.
   

Bonus point if you:

• Other languages are a plus.
