Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operation Engineer to join our analytics team. This role will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the data operation process for our analytics systems.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain a variety of scripts, including Batch, PowerShell, and Python scripts, to ensure the smooth operation of data processing and loading tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data vendor file loading and processing, working closely with the analytics team and data vendors when necessary
- Develop scripts to load data into analytics software modules, ensuring that required files are generated accurately and on time for client installations.
- Work with the database team to manage SQL web portals and maintain the integrity and performance of the data warehouse
- Develop and implement process improvements to optimize the efficiency of data processing and loading tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any system or data-related issues
- Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides related to data processing and loading tasks
- Participate in on-call rotation to address any critical issues that may arise outside of regular business hours
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent)
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Financial Engineering or equivalent preferred
- Experience in Database design, development, troubleshooting and tuning
- 3+ years programming Skills in SQL and Python
- 2+ years of financial service experience preferred
- Experience with C, C#, Java, C++, PowerShell, Batch Script preferred
- Excellent communication skills

- This position will work on a hybrid model out of our Santa Monica, Pittsburgh, Chicago, or Broomfield office or remotely in our list of approved states**

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000/year. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis considering various factors, including location, qualifications, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes paid holidays and a full range of health and financial benefits, which will be provided in conjunction with an offer of employment.
