Engineering Staff and Training Manager

GA-CCRi maintains and deploys production systems for users across the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and commercial industry. We build and develop best-in-class all domain and globally focused situational awareness capabilities, including THRESHER and DRAGONSPELL, that process petabytes of data from numerous streaming data sources in near real time. Our systems apply state-of-the-art algorithms and machine learning techniques to extract features and fuse data from multiple phenomenologies to form a rich live view of objects in the sky, on the sea, and on the ground. These analytics are designed to determine not just where something is, but what it is, where it's been and what it's doing. All of this "data to knowledge" is made available to end users in our own browser-based application for visualization, analysis, and understanding. This position is responsible for coordination between programs and HR to support staffing, hiring, and training of technical staff. Obtains information from Executive Leaders, Program Managers and Technical Directors to establish staffing requirements, priorities and developmental needs across all technical disciplines and in support of mission critical programs. Coordinates with project teams and HR to support hiring. Designs, develops and manages the training plans, materials, demonstrations, and course content of all internal development.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure organizational leadership and excellence is maintained by managing and participating in the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of the required professional talent.
- Manage all phases of training from conceptualization through completion, including planning, developing, delivering, and evaluating technical and technical management training to ensure quality and business objectives are attained.
- Act as the primary contact for technical training activities with both internal and external representatives.
- Manage and promote the advisor program to support career development activities and relationships between junior and senior employees.
- Create and maintain a strategic staffing and hiring plan that considers current and future business needs. Identify key areas to strengthen in organizational structure and team composition.
- Coordinate with operational and program teams to continuously improve hiring process including job rec templates, interview methods, evaluation methods, etc. and train hiring/interviewing teams on process.

- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Requirements
- Typically requires education or formal training equivalent to a bachelor's degree as well as eleven or more years of professional experience designing, developing, and delivering technical training or technical expertise in Data Science, Software Engineering or DevOps with at least five of those years in management.
- Must have an extensive understanding of company product(s) and the ability to read, analyze, interpret and integrate technical writing source material into training curriculum.
- Must be able to manage the development and communication of new concepts, some of which may be complex.
- Demonstrates technical expertise and application of training management principles, concepts, and practices as well as leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones.
- Must be able to develop creative solutions to complex problems that require coordination across departments.
- Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to interact with a wide variety of audiences.
- Customer focused, must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment, and able to work extended hours and travel as required.
- Must be able to transfer/obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and a CI poly.
