The Regional Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for the overall merchandise presentation throughout the region. You will travel frequently and serve as a leading expert in field Visual Merchandising to ensure the region is well-trained to successfully execute all DTLR corporate merchandise strategies. It is necessary to have a passion for effectively leading others with a keen understanding of the DTLR brand and customer base. The role is fast-paced and requires frequent travel. The RVM is accountable for applying their knowledge and expertise to ensure visual presentation excellence throughout the region to
enhance customer experience and increase company sales.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for coaching and managing each Visual Merchandiser & Senior Visual Merchandiser in the day-to-day performance of their role to ensure each member adheres to all DTLR company standards.
• Oversee and coach team for personal development.
• Analyze historical sales performance and use to influence merchandising strategies for anniversary time periods.
• Foster positive relationships with the store management to get feedback and insight to product needs.
• Create a merchandising flow calendar that identifies key items, trends, and product launches appropriate to the product category and brand.
• Manage the work and schedules of the merchandising team.
• Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Perform work under minimal supervision and possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
• Collaborate with the Buying Team to successful execute key merchandising strategies and communicating inventory levels or issues.
• Complete daily walkthroughs at store using Workforce Experience app to ensure visual merchandising is kept to the highest standards.
• Submit photo postings in Workforce Experience app to show before and after work to provide in-store examples of leading visual merchandising practices.
• Review and provide daily feedback in Workforce App for each Visual Merchandiser’s & Senior Visual Merchandiser’s posting to ensure effective coaching and development.

• Re-merchandise apparel and footwear layouts, window presentations, in-store displays and point of sale area to maximize product sell through.
• Coordinate with each Visual Merchandiser & Senior Visual Merchandiser to ensure all specific visual needs such as fixtures, lighting, signage, pricing concepts, point of sale, and execution of critical marketing campaign are met.
• Execute and direct the company’s visual merchandising directives throughout the stores, but not limited to specialty concept with specific vendor compliance.
• Must provide daily and concise follow-through on all areas of merchandising via email.
• Must provide in the moment training to motivate and coach Visual Merchandisers, Senior Visual Merchandisers and store teams about visual merchandising standards and maintenance.
• Lead effective store visits in partnership with the Regional & District Managers to build store’s visual merchandising and presentation capabilities, reinforcing the execution of DTLR standards throughout the region.
• Understands merchandise flow standards; backroom organization and how it effects floor set execution, replenishment and recovery and the overall in-store brand experience.
• Lead and support all visual merchandising aspects of new store openings/store remodels.
• Train and motivate store teams in visual maintenance practices and support Visual Merchandiser in overall visual efforts.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a compelling presentation of merchandise that will engage customers and help stimulate sales activity.
• Partner with Regional Manager and District Manager in holding store teams accountable for the visual maintenance of the store and assist with executing visual directives.
• Accountable for exceeding all assigned projects and goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:


Education And/or Experience
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of management experience and/or related training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Retail Management experience required.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
