The Floor Care Attendant - Driver will have knowledge and skills to maintain cleanliness/remedy floor care issues including carpet, tile, laminate, wooden floor surfaces throughout Wilderness Resort.
This is a part- or full-time position with day, night and weekend availability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Has the ability to perform all duties of Floor Care Attendant.
• Transports Floor care machinery/supplies/employees within Floor Care transport vehicle.
• Keeps Floor Care Vehicle clean, free of trash, and organized at all times.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with guests/housekeeping staff when using radio and in-person communication.
• Ensures all floor care supplies are stored/inventoried/transported/utilized properly and uses efficient practices.
• Observes Floor Care machinery proper operations and reports malfunctions or any mechanical problems to supervisor.
• Ensures all liquids are loaded to appropriate levels.
• Ensures Floor Care chemicals are properly attached/connected to equipment.
• Informs Supervisor if Floor Care chemicals need to be re-stocked/ordered.
• Sort’s laundry when possible, from laundry carts.
• Ensures Cleanliness/Cleans Floor Care equipment filters per manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Provides task completion reports to supervisor.
• Informs supervisor of chemical usage.
• Utilizes chemicals according to directions and familiarizes self with all material safety data sheets.
• Follows procedures concerning protection against blood borne pathogens.
• Practices safety procedures, including bending, lifting, and safe use of equipment.
• Reports hazardous conditions in work area or equipment to management.
• Keeps work/storage areas cleaned and organized.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
