The Opportunity

We are looking for a strong UX Designer to own the user experience of our B2B enterprise software. In this role, you will drive the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems. You will evangelize a holistic design process, design system, and language across teams. You will partner closely with senior leaders in engineering, product, marketing, and sales to guide the user experience of our product. You will help the company build and grow the UX Design function. This role requires strong analytical skills, critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and cross-group collaboration.

 

Specific responsibilities include the following: 

• Bootstrap the UX Design function and strategy for our B2B product offerings.
• Advise and educate the company about the discipline of UX Design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product managers, engineers, research/strategists, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Develop and implement user-centered design processes and methodologies to ensure the highest quality of user experience.
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and data analysis to identify user needs and pain points.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UX Research methods and tools.
• Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and design patterns to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Mentor and coach junior designers, and provide design feedback.
• Help the company build products and services that delight users and customers.

 

Role Readiness Prerequisites: 

• Must have experience with B2B SaaS cloud products.
• Must have experience researching the needs of engineer, analyst and/or data scientist roles/personas.
• 8+ years of professional UX experience for software products is required.
• A portfolio demonstrating previous work experience and deliverables that illustrate your UX process. 
• Experience delivering products at large scale.
• Aptitude and track record of quickly learning new and emerging technologies.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
• Experience leading complex strategic initiatives, ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally, and strong project management skills are required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher-level degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
