Role Summary 

The 2026 Summer MBA Intern – Equity (Fundamental Equity Research) internship involves fundamental analysis of a specific industry or sector to identify investible ideas for various portfolio strategies. The internship culminates in a final verbal presentation aimed at communicating recommendations to investment professionals within the firm.  

Responsibilities

• Involves interviews of company executives and management teams, competitors, suppliers, etc., as well as industry experts and Wall Street analysts
• Responsible for looking at both primary and secondary transactions
• Collaborate with other teams and Portfolio Managers via internal meetings
• Includes possible travel and industry conference attendance

Qualifications

Required: 

• First year MBA student scheduled to graduate in May 2027
   

Preferred:

• Strong background in finance and accounting 
• Proficiency in working with MS Excel and PowerPoint 
• Good communication skills 
• In addition to the qualities outlined above, intellectual curiosity and a disciplined approach to analysis are very important traits. 

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

$180,000 - $180,000 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$180,000 - $180,000 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$180,000 - $180,000 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
