Job Summary
The Recruiting and Events Specialist will be responsible for campus recruiting, developing, and executing a comprehensive student Intern and Co-Op program (Fall, Winter, Summer sessions), and other Talent Acquisition related events and programs. Responsibilities include managing the full life cycle of recruiting to attract the very best talent to join this great company. Work collaboratively with hiring managers to recruit, source, and hire candidates at the collegiate level. This position will execute all related programming and events during the student experience. This role demands a highly skilled individual in relationship building, creativity, program development, and exceptional organizational skills who demonstrates outstanding attention to detail, follow though, and a sense of urgency.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting:
- English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English
- Facilitate the identification and selection of world-class diverse talent using multiple sourcing methods and make candidate recommendations to hiring managers.
- Partner effectively with colleagues related to compliance, onboarding, and other processes.
- Screen qualified candidates and submit to hiring managers for consideration.
- Extend offers, track hiring data, track student eligibility for future employment.
- Drive the recruitment process by setting clear expectations and delivering on commitments with a sense of urgency to the business as well as internal and external candidates.
- Responsible for the intern conversion process.
Programs and Events:
- Create and deliver intern and co-op programs and events consisting of bi-weekly presentations, programs, and events to engage, educate, and create a sense of belonging among student interns and co-ops. Set schedule, manage budget and logistics, invitations, and post event review and reporting.
- Track and maintain data for recruiting and events. Compile results to present to colleagues and leadership. Use data analysis to assist in making decisions and process improvements.
- Develop and lead training sessions for hiring managers and event participants.
- Lead Talent Acquisition projects and events as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of full-time work experience with a combination of Human Resources, Marketing, Higher Education, Event Planning or related field
- Experience developing presentations and advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
- Ability to work on-site in Aguadilla, PR at least 3 days per week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree
- Talent Acquisition experience
- Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
