SUMMARY:
The Commercial Lines Jr. Account Manager will work closely with the department’s Account Managers & Account Executives to
provide excellent customer service to the agency’s clients on their commercial insurance program. The Jr. Account Manager will
assist the Account Managers (AMs) & Account Executives (AEs) with the day-to-day service responsibilities through various means of
communication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assists AMs and AEs in the placement of new and renewal business.
-Issue appropriate documentation, as needed including certificates of insurance, auto insurance ID cards, etc.
-Compile applications, and prepare proposals for new and renewal business proposals/offerings
-Contact clients and/or underwriters to obtain additional information or answer questions
-Set up and maintain electronic file information in the Agency Management System including data entry and client & policy database maintenance
-Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communication pertaining to client’s insurance program
-Review accounts handled for adequate coverage
-Process change requests and other coverage research issues
-Check policy coverage and endorsements for accuracy
-Transact Agency Billed Policy in timely fashion adhering to Brown & Brown protocol
-Review Aged Receivables, follow up on the collection of premium payments and assist the accounting department in reconciliation of
company and client accounts
-Follow established guidelines for workflow and system documentation
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Active Washington state P&C license
-2-4 years of recent agency experience handling the service of multi-line commercial lines book of business
-Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
-Working knowledge of carrier websites (Preferred)
-Professional designation (ACSR, CIC, CPCU, CISR) (Preferred)
-Experience with Agency Management Software Systems (Preferred)
-This position may require routine or periodic travel which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. If appropriate, acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages will be a requirement of this position.
COMPENSATION:
$23.00-$24.00/HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
