Job Details:

Purpose

To provide research support in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, under the supervision of Dr. Tim Yeh.

Responsibilities

  • To develop and perform engineering and/or scientific research requiring special qualifications or attainment, with wide latitude for independent action and decision.

  • Responsible for complex or unusual research assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.

  • Proposes, plans, schedules, coordinates, completes and reports the detailed phases of a part of, or all of, a research project.

  • Devises new approaches to problems encountered.

  • Oversees and assists in the preparation of specifications.

  • Assumes responsibility for acceptance or rejection of results achieved.

  • Performs related duties as required

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or other closely related field with four years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Lab experience using specialized research equipment 

Salary Range

$70,000

Working Conditions

Occasionally may require working with hazardous equipment or materials.
