Print Production Specialist - Part Time

Summary
The Associate Print Production Specialist will work closely with Zeta Account Managers, Creative teams, and other departments within the organization and trafficking of projects and communicating with vendors to ensure accurate and timely execution of all projects.
The Associate Print Production Specialist provides insight on cost-effective and high-quality print solutions that align with the overall goals of any project. They will ensure campaigns are executed in a way that ensures quality and on-time in-home delivery at a competitive price.
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversees all aspects of print production campaigns including scheduling, estimating, budgets, print buying, QC, prepress, printing, delivery, and financial follow-through.
- Manage print production vendors, negotiate pricing, and ensure that all materials are delivered on time and to the correct specifications.
- Creates and maintains schedules and production details for multiple projects.
- Coordinates the final art release to vendors, confirming print specifications to ensure all job requirements, quality expectations and delivery dates are clearly identified.
- Maintains production status of all assigned projects and provides regular reports on project status, budget, and timelines.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to streamline the production process and increase efficiency.
- Manage job production, delivery and invoicing, and proactively present production solutions.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Solid knowledge of commercial printing industry including offset printing (sheet-fed, web), inline finishing, folding, inserting; litho, flexo and digital printing processes
- Experience with mailing/lettershop services, postal operations and regulations and logistics
- Knowledge of (or min yrs experience) print estimating/job planning and buying experience and a thorough knowledge of offset and digital print processes.
- Able to work independently in a deadline-sensitive, creative environment.
- Highly organized, demonstrates attention to detail and time management.
- Strong written and communication skills
- Proficiency with computer and MS Office, especially Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments.
