Position Summary:
Within Global Technology Risk and Regulatory Management, Consumer, Business & Wealth Management Technology is seeking a self-starter who is motivated, passionate, thrives in a fast-paced culture, balances priorities, drives delivery, flawless execution, and enjoys team successes. This role provides opportunity to work across multiple lines of business in Global Technology and exposure with executive level leadership.
The candidate would be responsible for supporting regulatory exams, corporate audits, and various GCOR engagements to ensure consistent exam practices, successful execution, and reduction of risk exposure for the company. This includes ensuring timely response to regulatory inquiries; supporting the execution of ongoing supervision meetings; aiding with preparation of regulatory responses; as well as regulatory activity tracking, reporting and escalation. Applies technical knowledge and audit/exam experience to understand and address the questions, coordinate appropriate responses from technical subject matter experts, manage aggressive timelines from start of audit through to completion. Work closely with subject matter experts, and business partners to analyze assessment questions, understand and review technical evidence returned, ensure complete and accurate responses, and execute review and analysis of identified control deficiencies to drive to appropriate disposition. Interfaces with all levels of organization to ensure appropriate management involvement, awareness and understanding of risk, regulatory requirements, and impacts. Works under minimal supervision, managing regulatory exams, corporate audits, and GCOR reviews requiring strong understanding of audit processes and procedures. Maintaining quality records and documentation throughout the regulatory lifecycle, this includes tracking deliverable status, detailed meeting notes and recaps, archiving exam evidence, etc.
Required Qualifications :
- 5+ years of relevant experience in business controls, business support, or project management
- Strong knowledge of Consumer, Business & Wealth Management Technology organization including computing platforms and solutions
- Proven Risk Leader with demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities; knowledge of risk management /risk framework; ability to identify, escalate, and debate risk
- Ability to synthesize the complex into meaningful messaging to drive timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input, and when to act independently
- Problem solver who can manage through ambiguity and controversial situations successfully
- Strong relationship management skills to navigate the complexities of aligning stakeholders, building consensus and resolving conflicts in a large, distributed organization; proven ability to influence peers/stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities in a global and fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, influencing the opinions and actions of key stakeholders and gaining their trust
- Ability to “connect the dots” for others across multiple data points, make connections upstream/downstream that may not be easily noticeable
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
