About the role

Supports the development, implementation and support for pharmacy programs, vendors, and/or services for the improvement of health in the population.

Job Description:

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Define new pharmacy product, service, and experience requirements, and develop resources to efficiently and effectively fulfill pharmacy clinical and quality initiatives while maintaining a high degree of quality and attention to detail
  • Interface with other corporate line of business to identify process improvement projects while demonstrating an advanced knowledge level of pharmacy benefits and policies, including contracts, reimbursement rules, and clinical programs
  • Support, contribute to and/or facilitate the identification/prioritization of pharmacy solutions to prevent medication compliance risks
  • Facilitate the coordination of external partners/vendors with internal partners and personnel assigned to a project to define project implementation activities​

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Equivalent work experience is defined as 4 years of professional work experience. 

Experience

  • 3 years of experience in a health care driven industry required
  • 2 years of experience in a related field such as operations, technical, project management, product or other related field required

Skills/Certifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Possess strong analytical, technical, and decision making skills
  • Ability to meet schedule deadlines and departmental goals
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles, and accountability
  • Must possess ability to maintain professional relationship with vendors and other external partners

Job Specific Requirements: 

Pharmacy experience is a plus

Preferred knowledge of Commercial products

Preferred experience with product, program, and benefit implementation and/or management
