Production Technician 3 (1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm)

Perricone Farms, a leading citrus juice supplier located in Beaumont, CA, is seeking a Production Technician 3 (Juice Transferor), to join our team. Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour + No Differential

Shift / Hours: 1st Shift @ 7:00 am to 3:30 pm + possible weekend work (If needed)

As Production Technician 3 (Production - Juice Transferor), you will be responsible to transfer juice from one container to another during the manufacturing or packaging process. This can involve moving juice from storage tanks to bottling lines or between different processing stages. 

• Operate and monitor juice transfer equipment, including pumps and hoses, to move juice between containers and processing areas.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and maintained according to hygiene and safety standards.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment to identify and address any maintenance needs or issues.
• Collaborate with production staff to coordinate juice transfers in alignment with production schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of juice transfers, including volumes and times, to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Monitor juice quality during transfers and report any deviations to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in training new employees on transfer equipment and safety practices.

Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
• Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system.
• Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards.

Organizational Relationships:

Position reports to Shift Manager. Direct reports to this position are: None

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management and problem solving skills.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable
• Spanish is a plus.
