Robotics Systems Engineering Specialist (Contract)

Job Summary

As a Robotics Application Engineer I you will support the implementation and delivery of collaborative robotic automation solutions. This role involves technical problem-solving, process development, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of robotic systems. 

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management, engineering, and production teams to define robotic system requirements.
• Perform integration, testing, and validation of collaborative robotic solutions.
• Program robot arm paths and refine process parameters based on performance.
• Select and integrate components including EOATs, fixtures, sensors, and vision systems.
• Manage procurement, delivery, and assembly of robotic system components.
• Lead projects focused on adapting emerging technologies to existing robotic platforms.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in robotics or automation.
• Proficiency in automation programming (Python preferred).
• Experience with fabrication, assembly, and CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks preferred).
• Familiarity with Universal Robots (Polyscope), RoboDK, pneumatics, and material removal processes.
• Eligibility to work on programs subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
