Internships at Chubb help interns learn, develop, and succeed as they prepare to face career challenges in today’s high-performing and fast-paced business climate. Interns who succeed at Chubb are often considered for admission to Chubb’s Early Career Development Program, the Chubb Associate Program (CAP), after graduation.  The CAP is an interdisciplinary program designed to assist in the professional development of select individuals whose performance, previous professional experience at or before Chubb, and educational achievements qualify them for consideration for admission as a Professional Associate. 

 

The Chubb Internships are designed to include hands-on business assignments in a variety of disciplines and direct interaction with many of our senior executives. As part of this program, you will receive:

  • Technical training to deepen your skill level within your chosen discipline and an understanding of our broader industry.

  • Mentorship and influence from a group of experienced colleagues who are industry leaders in marketing and insurance. 

 

Specific Responsibilities: Financial Lines Marketing Intern

Use numerous marketing/communications tools (e.g., collateral, trade shows/events, e-marketing, advertising, internet, social/paid media, video, etc.) to drive messaging under the direction of the Marketing Manager and in consultation with senior business leaders:

  • Write and edit materials, including e-marketing copy, social media content, thought leadership, video scripts, executive bios, general internal and external communications, etc., for use in various distribution channels.
  • Support the development and production of marketing and event marketing materials, including product sheets, brochures, tradeshow and event materials, etc., in compliance with Chubb’s global brand standards.
  • Provide oversight in the delivery of communications assets to various audiences through multiple internal and external communications channels (traditional and social media, website, e-marketing, Chubb’s Intranet, etc.).
  • Assist in lead-generation efforts with some of Chubb’s top North America trading partners, including measuring the success of multiple lead-gen efforts  and ensuring the quality of the client/prospect experience for the leads.
  • Conduct research and support major marketing campaigns, such as competitive intelligence and analysis and support in outreach efforts to help amplify campaign reach.
  • Assist in the production of presentations, videos, audio podcasts and other related interactive assets, ensuring assets follow Chubb’s global brand standards.  
  • Learn and monitor the Laser Compliance System to ensure content is submitted and responded to in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Assist with the development of thought leadership materials, like advisories and infographics, seeing through copyediting and design reviews.
  • Monitor business webpages for accuracy and functionality, collaborating with the Digital Marketing team to make approved updates.

During your internship, you will be exposed to Chubb’s developmental approach and on-the-job training designed to help you refine your abilities in areas that Chubb deems key in the success of its future professionals.  Areas of focus include:

  • Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in many majors will be considered.
