Title: Senior Manager, Partnership and Transactions Offshore Wind

Location; Based in Boston, MA, 3 days in the office each week.

As we continue to expand our operations in the United States, we are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Manager to join our Partnership and Transactions team

 

Position Overview:

The Senior Manager, Partnership and Transaction, will have an integral part in developing strategic partnerships and coordinating transactions with the offshore wind sector in the United States. Leveraging their background in finance and legal, the interested candidate will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions and other strategic initiatives to support our growth strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement partnership strategies to support the company’s offshore wind development and expansion in the United States.
  2. Identify and evaluate potential partnership and investment opportunities, including join ventures, acquisitions and strategic alliances.
  3. Promote negotiations and structuring of partnership and legal agreements, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities.
  4. Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential partners, assessing financial, legal, development and operational aspects.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, development and operations to facilitate successful transactions.
  6. Maintain relationships with existing partners, fostering collaboration and promoting value creation.
  7. Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting offshore wind partnerships and transactions.
  8. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market analysis and partnership opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Law or related field required. MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 5-7 years minimum experience in finance, investment banking, corporate development, or legal roles, with a focus on renewables.
  • Provide experience delivering complex transactions, including partnerships, joint ventures and acquisitions.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities and financial models.
  • Comprehensive negotiation, due diligence, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and deliver results in a collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of the offshore wind industry and understanding of regulatory frameworks preferred.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Proficient in word, excel and powerpoint.
