Architectural Project Leader

CR architecture + design is seeking an ambitious & tenacious Project Leader, with a desire to further develop their project, people and leadership skills.

As a Project Leader, you'll gain exposure & knowledge of the many aspects of project management essential to learning how to manage projects, people and client expectations successfully. Participating & assisting the Project Manager with completing basic project management tasks will include: project budgeting, scheduling, creating and updating project plans, kick-off meetings, managing deliverables, design development, construction documentation, bidding, permitting, construction administration, site visits, code research and quality control.

Attending site surveys and coordinating with clients and consultant teams is a big part and perk of your role, as well.

What Does It Take To Be Successful?

• Producing and providing oversight of construction documents using REVIT
• Juggling multiple projects often with short timelines
• Anticipating problems before they arise & resolving complex technical & design issues creatively
• Effectively communicating within a project team; including taking direction and giving direction
• Mentoring junior staff and leading by example
• Identifying ways to innovate and improve the accuracy & efficiency of our processes
