Senior Marine Engineer

<p>Erithy, previously known as Be Better Contractors, specializes in the design and construction of sustainable subsea infrastructure globally.</p><p>We deliver consultancy services within the oil and gas industry, high voltage cables, biogas and hydrogen, as well as civil engineering services and project administration.</p><p>Created in 2017, Erithy has grown into a consultancy team made up of various profiles from Europe, South America and the Middle East, working on projects across Norway.</p><p>We are always on the lookout for new talented individuals to join our team, and we hope that you will be our new member!</p><p>We are now looking for a <strong>Senior Marine Engineer</strong> <strong>(Marine Installation)</strong> for one of our customers based in<strong> Oslo.</strong><br/></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Responsible for project documentation:</p><ul> <li>Start-up documents as MDR, Procurement plan etc.</li> <li>Project plan for own principal area.</li> <li>Technical specifications</li> <li>Operational procedures and calculations.<br/></li> <li>Design modifications to the installation/protection spread as required</li> <li>Perform protection performance evaluation based on available soil information.</li> <li>Take part in DIC, IDC and document reviews.</li> <li>As built documentation.</li> </ul>Responsible for project work:<ul> <li>Project specific and Client corporate HSE and Quality requirements are incorporated in the delegated engineering and procurement activities.</li> <li>Establishment of interface requirements and assist in resolving interface issues.</li> <li>Following up of subcontracted work, such as Survey, ROV, Vessel and other contracted services.</li> <li>Following up of suppliers</li> <li>Progress and other meetings with Client.</li> <li>Safe Job analysis/HAZOPS/FMEA’s as required in the project.</li> <li>Scope of work within time, cost and technical requirements.</li> <li>Delegate work packages of scope of work and follow up</li> <li>Offshore supervision</li> </ul><p>Participate in department/company work such as:</p><ul> <li>Develop departments tools/checklists/documents templates etc</li> <li>Adhere to company policies and procedures.</li> <li>Take personal responsibility for own HSE in all involved activities.</li> <li>Have zero tolerance for poor HSE standards, and intervene to stop unsafe work.</li> <li>Act like a HSE role model for others.</li> <li>Training of new personnel</li> <li>Tender work</li> <li>Research and development of new technologies</li> <li>Investment projects</li> </ul><ul> </ul><ul> </ul><p><strong>Requirements: </strong></p><ul> <li>Senior engineer with experience within cable laying operations (preferably export cable / interconnectors). Need to have offshore experience.
