Bilingual Patient Engagement Specialist

Primary Role:

The Patient Engagement Specialist is to make outbound calls to contracted covered entity patients who are not receiving pharmacy services by an affiliated pharmacy. Individual will explain the value offering of the company’s pharmacy services so that the patient may have a choice to either continue having the prescription filled at their current pharmacy or choose to have their prescriptions transferred and filled by an affiliated pharmacy. Hybrid Role, 2-3 days in office per week. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Call potential pharmacy customers using an in-house sales platform to raise awareness of pharmacy services.
• Visit patients at in-house pharmacy clinic as directed by manager.
• Use given outreach scripts to provide information about pharmacy services and raise awareness of the benefits.
• Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s needs and requirements.
• Record the results of calls accurately in a custom sales platform.
• Keep records of calls and record useful information in the custom sales platform.

Required Education & Skills:

• Bilingual is required. Fluent in Spanish and English language
• Associate College Degree or higher / Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently.
• Ability to take leadership direction to improve performance.
• Time management. Complete work within established time frames.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to report work orally or in writing to Supervisor, as applicable.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative, courteous working relationships with others.
• Ability to understand, apply and use personal computers and software applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and client information.

Experience:

• Sales Experience (Preferred) – cold calling, customer service solutions, person to person sales
• Working knowledge of the health care industry (Preferred)

Physical Requirements:

Position is required to frequently drive a car, stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, use of hands to type; must be able to read computer screen.
