Position Specific Description
The Information Technology (IT) Business Unit is seeking a Senior Project Manager that is highly skilled in driving projects and lean methodologies to contribute to the IT Quality Program. In this role, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading and identifying projects in alignment with strategic initiatives critical to the success of the IT department. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage through influence are key to success in this role. In this role, you will manage data strategies and complex improvement initiatives. This individual will utilize lean methodologies and apply data analytics to support strategic decision-making.
• Initiates and leads cross-functional projects including data collection, analysis, and implementation of recommendations through to completion.
• Collaborates with IT leadership and stakeholders to understand and align initiatives with the strategic goals of the organization.
• Plans and executes data-driven assurance and advisory projects to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, identify risks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitors project progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Engages with stakeholders at various levels to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and buy-in for improvement initiatives.
• Drives a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to existing processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Draws insights from data and makes recommendations.
• Conducts data analytics to support key business unit initiatives.
• Monitors end-to-end business processes data for opportunities to improve.
• Supports Corporate Quality Six-Sigma program.
Job Overview
This position plans, executes, and finalizes projects according to schedule and within budget. Employees in this role acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members including third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Individuals define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle.

• Plans and directs the installation of Information Technology projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas
• Provides formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned team(s) to ensure timely and effective project execution
• Participates in employee development, coaching, and ongoing performance management
• Applies knowledge and experience in own discipline while continuing to acquire and develop higher-level knowledge and skills
• Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers
• Solves a range of straightforward problems
• Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedure
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 4+ years
Preferred Qualifications
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
