Allianz SE, the parent company, is headquartered in Munich, Germany.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span><span><b><span><span>Job Purpose</span></span></b></span></span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span><span><span><span>Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager in Allianz Ireland, the Senior Reinsurance Accountant will be responsible for providing timely and accurate reinsurance financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, supporting the month end processes, regulatory returns, and internal Allianz Group reporting.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span><span><b><span><span>Key Responsibilities:</span></span></b></span></span></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span><span><span>Working under different accounting regimes: IFRS, Local IFRS, Solvency II / MVBS</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Maintaining general ledger and sub-ledgers (SAP based)</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Responsible for all reinsurance reporting internal and external</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Supporting the year-end external audit by responding to auditors’ requests for information and documentation, providing input to and reviewing the Company’s Financial Statements; </span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Supporting Solvency II regulatory reporting (input, review, testing of QRTs)</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Supporting and delivering on internal audit requests</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Supporting ongoing compliance with IRCS to ensure integrity of Financial Statements</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Collaborating in a global team and managing relationship with different internal and external stakeholders including group project work on streamlining processes</span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Supporting management reporting for local committees and Board Meetings, as required</span></span></span></span></li> </ul> <p><span><span><span><span> </span></span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span><span><b><span><span>Key Requirements / Skills &amp; Experience</span></span></b></span></span></span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span><span>Qualifications:</span></span></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span><span><span>ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified accountant </span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span><span>Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)</span></span></span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><span><span><span>Experience:</span></span></span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span><span><span>Relevant working experience (3-5 years post qualification) in the financial services sector –
