We are looking for a Full-time Project Administrator in Tucker, Georgia to perform the following duties:
Provide a full service of support to the Construction Engineering and Inspection department. In charge of confidential file management, ordering supplies, and on-boarding of new employees. Coordinates and assists with special events, requests and project support. Excels within a demanding environment while successfully balancing staff and client needs.
- Assist with quality assurance management i.e., ensures that all policy and regulation changes are updated and employees are informed through verbal and/or written communications in a timely manner
- Respond to inquiries, requests from supervisors, co-workers and general public with accurate information in a professional and courteous manner
- Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions as required
- Responsible for good public relations at all times
- Responsible for maintaining effective and open lines of communication to stay abreast of the needs of the team being supported
- Update project public outreach newsletter by designated deadlines
- Assist with developing presentations if requested
- Compose, prepare, and/or edit routine correspondence, letters, memoranda, applications, reports and other documents and distribute to management and staff
- Prepare, edit, and/or review reports by gathering data and typing draft and final reports; distribute reports to appropriate personnel; file final reports
- Utilize knowledge of various software programs to operate a computer in an effective and efficient manner
- Perform front desk duties to included, but not limited handling customer inquiries in-person and face to face, filing, mailing, copying, answering telephone, etc. Other duties as assigned: While the following duties are typical of the position, they are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to assist with all duties that are required to deliver a quality product on schedule.

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Intermediate skill using MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong organizational, quantitative, and problem solving skills
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Ability to approach problems both logically and creatively
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform multiple assignments without immediate supervision
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Science, Business Administration or related field required
- 5 years of experience providing administrative support to management staff
Preferred Education and Experience
- 6 or more years of experience providing administrative support to management staff
- Experience in the engineering design industry and/or in the construction industry is desireable
LICENSURES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND REGISTRATIONS:
- None required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required
- This would require the ability to lift files and office supplies, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This job operates in a professional office environment
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printers, filing cabinets and fax machines
