Quality Inspector

Position Overview: Inspects manufactured goods, ensuring quality and accuracy using established criteria.  Completes, creates, and manages quality records. Works in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:         

• Performs basic quality inspections using checklists with pre-determined acceptance criteria
• Complete and maintain inspection and test records
• Documents non-conformances and communicates issues to production personnel
• Maintain workspace in accordance with company standards
• And other requested duties as needed     

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of previous employment preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant experience includes inspection of fabricated goods, electromechanical assembly, fabrication, welding, machining, application or inspection of paint and coatings
• Must be able to read blueprints and technical documentation
• Able to use basic measuring and test equipment such as tape measure, caliper, dry film thickness gage, thread gages, multi-meter, etc.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for the majority of the workday.
• Ability to move 50 lbs.
