Make a Difference as a Registered Nurse at Tewksbury Treatment Center!

Are you a Registered Nurse passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate care? Tewksbury Treatment Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care within our specialized detoxification program. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll foster a safe and therapeutic environment, treating patients with compassion and professionalism as they embark on their recovery from alcohol and/or other drugs. Our goal is to offer crucial medical and emotional support during a pivotal stage of recovery in a safe and therapeutic environment. We pride ourselves on creating a safe, therapeutic, and professional environment for our clients.

As a valued member of our nursing team, you will:

  • Monitor and report patient symptoms, treatment reactions, and changes in safety status.

  • Administer medications accurately and safely.

  • Collaborate with the treatment team to provide health information and maintain comprehensive medical records.

  • Respond effectively to patient care needs and assist with activities of daily living, fostering a positive therapeutic environment.

  • Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.

  • Actively participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A valid and current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Current CPR certification.

  • Experience in addiction treatment services is a plus, but new graduates with a passion for this field are encouraged to apply.

Schedule: Full time, 32 hours days including every other weekend. Various shift/schedules available.
