Senior International Trade Compliance Analyst (Remote)

SRC Inc.’s International Trade Compliance (“ITC”) organization in the Office of Legal and Compliance is seeking a Senior ITC Analyst. This senior level position supports the International Trade Compliance office and is responsible for providing guidance to SRC’s multiple sites and business areas, along with its domestic and international subsidiaries, in connection with all facets of export/import compliance. This position interacts with employees at all levels on a variety of interesting ITC matters.
What You’ll Do
Advises and supports business areas and subsidiaries on export and import compliance matters, providing strategic and tactical leadership within the organization
Assists in developing and implementing procedures, instructions and compliance tools designed to achieve full compliance with the ITAR, EAR and other applicable export/import controls
Reviews international orders and shipments and provides guidance to ensure conformity to licensing and other ITAR/EAR compliance requirements
Presents export compliance training to a variety of audiences, as required
Responsible for preparation and submission of all types of ITAR and EAR license applications, agreements, and processing of exemptions and exceptions; acts as a company Empowered Official for purposes of ITAR compliance and DDTC licensing activities
Coordinates closely with Business Development and other business teams to communicate and to follow appropriate processes to ensure the proper submission, use and administration of licenses, agreements, exemptions and other authorizations
Advises on licensing requirements for demonstration and marketing activities, and for technical data releases, and works closely with business functions to ensure that timely and comprehensive authorizations are in place, as required
Tracks and maintains current status on provisos, conditions, reporting and other compliance requirements under licenses, agreements and approvals
Ensures compliance for foreign travel, foreign visits and foreign procurements
Assists in supporting internal and external audits and in tracking and closing of any resulting corrective actions. This may include preparation of voluntary disclosures
What You’ll Bring
Education:
Any combination of professional and experiential preparation equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience:
Minimum of seven years of experience working in industry with ITAR and EAR regulations
Currently or previously designated an (EO) Empowered Official
Demonstrated business acumen and leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills and the ability to learn quickly, work independently, manage and prioritize multiple tasks and lead projects in a team environment
Proactive, well-organized approach with ability to effectively manage volume and prioritize accordingly
Sound judgment and meticulous attention to detail
Excellent leadership skills and ability to provide expert consultation on International Trade Compliance matters
Ability to obtain DoD Secret Security Clearance required
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Export-Import and Trade tools and programs including DECCS, and SNAP-R. Experience with OCR Ease Software preferred

Previous experience working in the defense industry
