Alongside an experienced Engineering Manager, you’ll lead the team which manages our core services for calling, authentication, internal APIs and more, and create a scalable approach for our technologies alongside the Product and Platform teams.

• Work with a Senior Engineering team and own the strategy for our calling architecture and internal teams
• Scale key areas for mid-market & enterprise teams, including reliable, high quality calling from continent and seamless carrier & number management

• Ensure best-in-class call quality by delivering scalable low uptime services with your engineering team
• Leverage industry-standard technologies like GraphQL, Asterisk, & machine learning to create a word-class calling & internal team experience

What you will work on:

• Work with you team to define the best technologies and approaches for our core calling services and internal teams 
• Understand the technological needs of other CloudTalk teams and define these requirements for your team
• Draft proposals which convey the impact and business value of each proposed solution; create and prioritize your roadmap
• Keep up with industry standards for telephony and B2B SaaS technologies
• Create measurable success and health metrics for the team and your product with Product Operations team an other Product & Engineering teams
• Deliver "end-to-end" feature lifecycle from technological problem, product requirements, architecture design, engineering discovery, implementation, testing, release and monitoring
• Play an active role in ensuring quality with engineering & QA teams during implementation and testing
• Work with Engineering and Product leadership on a vision for your team and a strategy to achieve this vision

You will be a great fit if…

• You have previous experience in a team that combines voice engineering and software engineering in a product-led SaaS company
• You have 1+ years of experience managing a cross-functional product team
  You have at least 2 years of voice development experience or a Masters in Software Engineering
• You have proven experience creating clear, compelling explanations of the business value and impact of engineering initiatives
• You focus on creating measurable impact
• You are a flexible communicator and a guardian of their and their team’s focus 
• You are a critical thinker hungry to learn
• You are stress resilient
