As our next Strategic Solutions Integration & Test focal, you'll immerse yourself in the intricacies of Strategic Nuclear Deterrence, bringing your acumen to the forefront of innovation and ensuring the efficacy and security of systems that are vital to national defense.
You will learn from the best and brightest in the communications and nuclear deterrence domain working at Collins Aerospace. This position is for Richardson, TX.
What YOU Will Do:
Lead a team of systems engineers through design, development and documentation of system integration plans of large complex systems.
Coordinate across engineering teams in the integration of large complex systems, utilizing automation and simulation tools.
Lead the execution of manual and automated procedures at the system and sub-system levels to verify system capabilities.
Coordinate across business functions to establish the development lab
Utilize SysML models in development of verification scenarios
Plan project level work and meet schedule, cost, and performance goals.
Manage program technical risks by evaluating requirements and design aspects.
Interact with a cross-functional team of (including, but not limited to) Engineers, Engineering leaders, Program Managers, Business Developers, Finance, Quality, and Production
Understand and support the manufacturing build, test, quality, and customer acceptance review processes
Represent the systems engineering integration team at internal and external customer meetings.
Serve as a liaison between functional discipline groups and internal and external customers
Travel occasionally to support program requirements
Requires on-site presence in a classified lab space.

Qualifications YOU Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Must be eligible for a Top Secret Clearance
Proven experience integrating communication/RF, network, or mission systems
Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of Systems Engineers.
Effective communication skills with all levels of management, program team members, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience integrating and verifying radio equipment, networking solutions, and mission systems.
Project Management, Control Account Management (CAM), and earned value experience.
Working knowledge of bidding and project/task estimation tools (e.g. SEER products).
Experience with processes such as peer review, configuration, and change management.
Participating in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
