Kitchen Crew Job SummaryAre you a cook and tired of restaurant hours? Be part of our dining services team in creating and serving delicious dishes for our residents. Prepare food in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines and regulations as directed by the Resident Dining Director and assure the quality of food service is provided at all times. Senior Living dining isn't what you think - check us out  Your job as Kitchen Crew is an all-hands type of role. You’ll rove the dining room and kitchen, ensuring any area that needs assistance is helped. Working closely with our Culinary Director, you'll help make sure dishes are made, served, and cleaned up. Responsibilities:

• Prepare food using standardized recipes and procedures.
• Maintain safe and sanitary procedures, paying special attention to temperatures of food and attractiveness of trays.
• Meet the demands of meal schedules and therapeutic diets
• Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy.
• Serve dishes to our residents in a kind manner.
• Assist in cleaning pots, pans, and keeping the kitchen area spick and span.
• Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
• After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks.

 Qualifications:

• Be open to changing roles on the fly.
• Stay positive, especially when it's busy, to keep things happy.
• Be patient and understanding when customers have requests or concerns.
• Notice when things need to be clean, helping keep the dining area tidy and safe.
