Crafted Highlights:
In the Financial Analyst – Non-Alc role based in Milwaukee, you will be a key member of the GBS Non-Alc team. In this role, you will mainly support the OTC function which includes maintaining customer receivable balances, applying incoming payments, collections, and excellent customer service while also contributing to process improvements. Your focus will be ensuring you have a comprehensive understanding of customer balances and behaviors while accurately tracking open invoices and deductions. You will then work cross-functionally with the business to share insights, build relationships, and help fuel the momentum of our growing Non-Alc business.
This position reports to the GBS Team Lead – Non Alc and works closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other Finance teams.
What You’ll Be Brewing:
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records
- Apply cash receipts to customer accounts. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, deductions, and disputes
- Monitor, investigate, and follow-up on overdue balances through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence
- Provide monthly aging report to finance leadership
- Analyze trends in customer payment behavior. Support cash flow forecasting by identifying expected collections
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve variances
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments
- Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to resolve issues
- Enter Non-Alc distributor claims
- Support month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration
Key Ingredients:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting OR equivalent experience (4+ years) in the field of Tax Accounting
- You have solid knowledge of GAAP and internal controls (CPA or CMA preferred)
- You have strong Excel skills and experience with financial software (SAP, BOBJ, PowerBI)
- Experience working on continuous improvement initiatives across cross functional teams
- You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
