About the role

We are seeking an experienced, data-driven professional to lead our enterprise promotion strategy in one of our fastest-growing and most data-rich channels. As the Retail Promotions Leader, you will be instrumental in driving consumer demand and enhancing digital shelf placement, ensuring our strategy is competitive and well-executed across both brick-and-mortar and online retail spaces.

The Retail Promotions Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing a price discount promotion strategy and performing financial analysis to support our Omni-Channel Retail commercial team. This highly analytical role requires a deep understanding of finance, marketing, and analytics to assess promotion results, financial performance, and key eCommerce metrics like traffic and conversion. You will work in a dynamic and evolving market, requiring agility and the ability to adapt strategies based on real-time data insights.

This is a collaborative, cross-functional role that will work closely with various teams including sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, brand protection, and analytics. You will help shape the promotion strategy for top retail customers like Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Amazon and collaborate with the Pricing COE to align promotional efforts with enterprise goals. You will report to the Senior Director of Omni-Retail Marketing and work alongside a team of leaders driving our go-to-market strategy.

Strategy Development & Execution:

  • Lead the development of Omni-Channel Promotion Strategies across both physical and online retail channels.

  • Project manage and develop a self-service tool to support the coordinated promotion calendar.

  • Define and execute a long-term promotional strategy within the channel, aligning with Delta Faucet Company's overarching business objectives to drive growth and customer engagement.

  • Partner with the Pricing COE to ensure promotion strategies align with enterprise pricing and brand goals.

  • Create and enforce promotion guardrails and standard processes across the organization.

  • Navigate and manage multiple complex, competing, and evolving pricing dynamics to develop informed, strategic promotional approaches that enhance competitiveness and profitability.

Financial Management & Analysis:

  • Align promotion strategies with channel P&L and financial guardrails.

  • Recommend opportunities to optimize ROI within the Gross-to-Net sales budget.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Support PowerBI data models that empower Account Management to implement promotions aligned with the strategy.

  • Analyze the performance of past and current promotions to evaluate the eCommerce impact, sales lift, contribution margin, and cross-channel effects.

  • Leverage price monitoring tools to continuously adjust and refine the DFC pricing strategy in real-time.

  • Maintain and update PowerBI dashboards to provide the team with up-to-date, actionable data insights.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of financial management experience with strong financial competence.

  • 8-10 years of professional experience, with a degree in Finance, Analytics, or a related field.

  • Expertise in analytical methodologies and statistical models.

  • Experience in retail, eCommerce, or CPG industries.

  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerBI, including experience with DAX.

  • A data-driven mindset with a proven track record of making informed, data-backed decisions.

  • Passion for dashboard design and utilizing data visualization techniques.

  • Collaborative approach with the ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams.

  • Continuous learning mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-changing market environment.
