Job Description

Responsibilities include:
•    Supervise maintenance bargained unit employees
•    Provide technical support to Engineering and R&D departments
•    Facilitate repairs on all equipment, buildings and infrastructure
•    Write “Preventive Maintenance” procedures and ensure their proper execution
•    Identify failure patterns and take steps to eliminate them
•    Identify obsolete equipment and provide alternatives
•    Substitute for other maintenance supervisors when they are unavailable
•    Stay current with the latest vacuum, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and electronic related technology
•    Maintain spare parts inventory
•    Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with vendors and outside contractors
•    Provide safety and technical training to employees
•    Manage department overhead spend
•    Maximize equipment up time to support operations

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Two (2) year associates degree or equivalent military training or equivalent leadership experience
• Min 2 years’ experience in the maintenance related field
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to supervise bargaining unit personnel.
• Ability to interface effectively with engineering, production and other maintenance departments.
