The Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing and sub acute facilities in the Desert Care Network, including managing staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. In addition to over seeing the Director of Nursing to guarantee the highest degree of care is provided to patients and residents, the Administrator must be in accordance with the California Department of Public Health policies and procedures.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing home.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to insure quality of care.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate staffing levels and patient care services.
  • Develop and implement a budget for the nursing home.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers and other healthcare providers.
  • Effectively represent the facility, both internally and externally, while maintaining a positive image in the community through proactive public and community relations programs.

Experience

  • SNF Administrator: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Nursing Home Administrator License (Required)
