Senior Full Stack Engineer (Go & React/ Typescript)

Being advocates of our corporate culture, we value teamwork and curiosity, and we know how to have fun!</p><p><strong>What do we do?</strong></p><p>ICEYE is building and operating its commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time – even when it’s cloudy or dark – providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.</p><p>To support the company's growth, we are looking for a Full Stack Engineer, Satellite Order Management based in our office in Espoo, Finland.</p><p><strong>About the role:</strong><br/></p><p>In this role, you would develop a web application's backend and front-end, a user interface where our products and services are available. The team's main objective is to enable our customers to task our satellites, follow their orders, and deliver the data. This team comprises 10+ engineers working on the backend, front end, or both. A UX designer, DevOps, and security engineer support the team. You will develop new features and software from scratch to make modular and extensible systems highly available and horizontally scalable. You will help design and implement all layers and provide internal and external stakeholders APIs. Our stack is mostly Go (Golang) microservices running on Kubernetes in AWS, while the front-end is React and Typescript. We follow an agile process, build Infrastructure-as-code, aim at best practices, and are always willing to improve.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Must have:</strong></p><ul> <li>You’re a solid hands-on software engineer.
